There are certain magical qualities to oils that the artist ~Tonicacat manages to unleash with seeming effortlessness; here in Pie the colours glow while retaining a sheer softness reminiscent to watercolours, lending further impact to the much inspired and emotive imagery.

Description
So this is pretty much all I got done this summer... but I'm headed for a big move, and should be a lot more productive in the near future (I'll be holed up in the middle of nowhere Ohio, so I'm hoping I'll be motivated simply out of boredom!). Anyway, just shot this with my little digital camera, so not the best pic, but I'm much too poor at the moment to get it professionally shot. Oils on canvas, as usual
